Technical measures to improve road safety on the national roads
Personal projekt
 Up till now, I dont know about changing ( or not) of title of my personal project. All depends on documents which I have had now, because most of them are in french .
Objectives of work
to get overview of technical measures to improve road safety which are use now in the France on national
roads ( without motorways)
I am interested in solution used on the main roads which lead throught the urban and rural areas :
• reconstruction cross roads
• small roundabouts
• traffic lights
• traffic siging and road marking
• new means, new solutions ...
compare the solutions use now in the France with solutions in the Poland
evaluation of technical measures use in the Poland on national roads and try to find new solutions which are
could apply on the roads in Poland

I have had a contact with :

Laurent Nicole,Odile Grisaud and Liliane Sardais from SETRA ,
Pierre Toulouse from CPC .
I will expect some materials from CERTU and INRETS (E-mail or by post ).
I still need informations, but only in english and in compact form ( kind of catalogue of technical measures to improve road safety).
Back to Poland, before the second Module
At home ,I will study documents (which I have) and some Web-side of any Institutions and Firms about road safety solutions from French and Western European Country (the England,Netherlands,...)
Objectives of the second Module
Objective of the second Module is to get new informations about modern traffic lights,automatic speed-control system,low-cost measures to improve road safety, Intelligent Transport System .
I need any contacts about this .
I want to visit Regional Directorate of National Roads and see solutions on the roads .
